Why it fits · analyst assessment
AuraOne could propose a bounded data/evaluation or infrastructure-training work package under an eligible lead. This is not a direct commercial GPU-buying grant.
Recommended next action
Identify an eligible existing consortium only if AuraOne has a concrete supported workforce or data-services role. Do not count the whole-hub award as company pipeline.
Eligibility
Lead applicants are eligible U.S. colleges/universities and specified research or education nonprofits. AuraOne is not an eligible lead under the captured rules; any supported role requires an eligible consortium.
Requirements to verify
- One lead award with subawards.
- Consortium must fund compute infrastructure from other resources.
- Five-year commitments and institutional support are material gates.
Official NSF 26-513 rules rechecked October 31. Typical $4M–$12M whole-consortium cooperative agreements are not company revenue. Consortium members must finance acquisition of computing, data, software, networking, storage, cloud and other infrastructure; no eligible consortium or commercial award to AuraOne is established.
